Mr. Albert "Mac" Grisham, age 91, of Murray, Kentucky died on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mr. Grisham was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on February 4, 1925 to the late Alvon A. Grisham and Ada (Jellicorse) Grisham. Mr. Grisham was a United States Navy retiree, serving 23 ½ years and later retired from the Oxnard Airport in Ventura County, California as the airport manager. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Solomon Sunday School Class.
In addition to his parents Mr. Grisham was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Anne Grisham, who died on April 29, 2015; and by four sisters and five brothers.
Mr. Grisham is survived by two daughters, Sherri Grisham of Murray, Kentucky and Sue Belzer of San Antonio, Texas; a foster daughter, Nancy Savory of Santa Ana, California; one sister, Emily Murphy of Jacksonville, Florida; two grandchildren, Emily Sue Belzer-Osiecki of San Antonio, Texas and Christopher Allen Grisham of Murray, Kentucky; two great grandchildren, Ellery Osiecki and Theodore Osiecki; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins survive.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Boyd Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Scotts Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 prior to the funeral service from 12:00 p.m. until funeral hour (2:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.
