Alberta Gene Wrather

Mrs. Alberta Gene Wrather, 89, of Murray, KY, died August 14, 2010, at Glendale Place in Murray, KY.
Mrs. Wrather born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 1, 1921 to the late Rexford Nutten and Effie Parks Nutten. Mrs. Wrather before retiring worked as a registered nurse. She was a member of the Eastwood Baptist Church and a member of the Adult Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wrather was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyce Wrather and son, Scott Wrather.Mrs. Wrather is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Rieger of Nashville, TN, and Shelley Nelson of Murray, KY, eight grandchildren, Dawn Hill of Paducah, KY, Brian Buchanan of Phoenix, Arizona, Sara Smith of Santa Clara, CA, Daniel Rieger of Indianapolis, IN, Jordan Rieger of New York City, New York, Anne Wrather, Steven Wrather, and Jenny Wrather all of Lexington, KY, also eleven great grandchildren survive, Jerimiyah Hayes of Paducah, KY, Fernando, Melony, Melissa, Hoyce, and Louis Xander Buchanan – Ibanez all of Phoenix, AR, Samuel Smith of Santa Clara, CA, Rylee Wrather, Myles Wrather, Brenden Wrather, and Tristen Wrather all of Lexington ,KY.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Harrell officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m., until funeral hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.
