Dr. Ali Sabahi, age 50, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.
Dr. Sabahi was born in Tehran, Iran, on February 10, 1972. He was a 2009 graduate of Tulane University with a Ph.D. in Microbiology. Ali was a professor at U.T. Martin, teaching Microbiology.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Merriku S. Ramezanian.
Survivors include his wife, Simone Silva of Murray, Kentucky, they married on December 11, 2006, in Louisiana; father, Mahmood Sabahi of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; one sister, Afsaneh Sabahi; one brother, Amir Sabahi; cousin Fatemeh Mokhtari Qehi.
The family is planning a memorial service at a later date.
