Alice Houston

Mrs. Alice Houston, age 76, of Stella, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at her home. She was a loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend that exemplified a charitable, Christian character. She was also a retired laboratory technician and a member of West Fork Baptist Church.
She was born on November 5, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Laban V. Delay and the late Bazel (Johnson) DeLay. Preceded in death by one brother, Michael DeLay.
Surviving is her husband, C.L. (Charles) Houston; sons, Chuck Houston and wife Lisa of Kirksey, Kentucky and Brent Houston and wife Jill of Kirksey, Kentucky; grandchildren, C.J. Houston, Sam Houston and numerous other children she loved and cared for including, Colton and Capree Burris; brother, Van DeLay and wife Judy of Weatherford, Texas
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2019 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. till the funeral hour on Sunday, December 15, 2019.
