Mrs. Allene "Pete" Neale age 95, of Murray, Kentucky, died Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.
Pete was born August 2, 1921 in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Richard Dewitt Fairris and Bessie Brewer Fairris. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She retired from TVA Land between the lakes as a secretary, she also worked as a secretary for County Agent Sam Foy, and the Murray High School in the 60's. Pete was also a co-owner of the Flower Ladies. She spent ten wonderful years at Hickory Woods Retirement center before becoming ill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Patrick B. Wallis, second husband, Graves "Skip" Neale; sister, Jane Lancaster; and two grandsons, Coley Tate Wallis and Scott Wayne Wallis.
Survivors include two sons, Kim Wilson Wallis and wife Evelyn of Murray, Jack Coley Wallis and wife Janet of Murray, daughter, Mary Jane Brewer of Lafayette, Indiana; two granddaughters, Amy Speight of Murray, and Jesse Brewer of Lafayette;two great granddaughters, Ella Elizabeth Wallis and McKensey Speight; special niece, Connie Taylor of Fort Collins, Colorado.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Rev. Jim Stahler and Dr. Rick Dye will officiate. Burial will follow in the South Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 11a.m. till 1p.m., at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
