Anna Lou Jones

Mrs. Anna Lou Jones, age 101, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.
Mrs. Jones was born March 15, 1920, in Murray, Kentucky, to the late Jesse Richard Smotherman and Doshie Key Smotherman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Williams Chapel Church of Christ, the Adult Sunday school class and attended the Glendale Road Tuesday morning ladies bible class.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Lee Jones; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Williams Jones; sister-in-law, Barbara Smotherman.
Survivors include one son, Dennis Lee Jones of Murray, Kentucky; brother, Max Hugh Smotherman of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Denny Jones and wife Leslie of Murray, Kentucky and Johna Jones of Murray, Kentucky; one great grandchild, Garrett Jones of Murray, Kentucky; one step grandchild, Paxton Mastera of Murray, Kentucky.
A Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. David Williams will officiate, and burial will follow in the Westfork Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
