Anna Mae Lassiter

Mrs. Anna Mae Lassiter, age 86, of Murray Kentucky, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 9:40 pm at Spring Creek Health Care.
She was a homemaker, member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church, and former Sunday school teacher for over 25 years, was past president and program director for WMU. Born Nov. 9, 1923 in Calloway Co., Ky.
She is survived by daughter, Pamela Collins (Kenny) Murray, Ky., two sons, Jerry Lassiter (Patricia) of Dexter, Ky., Jimmy Lassiter (Cindy) Murray, Ky., six grandchildren, Jody Lassiter (Kelley) of Danville, Ky., Jared Lassiter of Murray, Ky., Tiffany Linville (Greg) of O’Fallon, Mo., Jessica Lassiter of Murray, Ky., Heather Armstrong (Brett) of Murray, Ky., Matthew Collins of Murray, Ky. also eight great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Lassiter, parents, Felix Lorenzo and Anna Ratterree Bailey, son, John Thomas Lassiter Jr., four sisters, Irene Bailey, Vera Farris, Mary Frances King, Alberta King, three brothers, Troy, Carl, and Graham Bailey.
Funeral service will be Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. at the Locust Grove Baptist Church, Rev’s. Alan Beane and Hal Shipley will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
