Anthony Don "Tony" Hendon

Mr. Anthony Don “Tony” Hendon, age 62, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026, at his home.

Mr. Hendon was born in Murray, Kentucky on March 26, 1964. He recently retired from UPS as a package delivery driver. He was a 1982 graduate of Calloway County High School, where he was also a member of the Laker football team. Tony was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and, on October 9, 1988, he clinched the AMA National Cross Country Championship in Motorcross. He was a past Mason and Shriner, and he was of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dorsey Dean Hendon; and by one sister, Sonia Hendon.

Tony is survived by his mother, Rachel Kay (Marr) Hendon Thomason of Murray, Kentucky; three daughters, Lauren Holt and husband Blake of Benton, Kentucky, Laken Sieben and husband Cody of Benton, Kentucky, and London Hendon of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Roger Hendon of Puryear, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Maklayne Holt, Maryn Holt, McCord Sieben, and Hendon Sieben all of Benton, Kentucky. “Pappy” loved his kids and his grandchildren so much and was always their biggest fan.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A private family graveside will follow.
