Ms. April "Dawn" Shekell, age 44, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Monday, May 25, 2020, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.
Ms. Shekell was born on August 30, 1975, in Murray, Kentucky. She earned her B.S. in 2007 from Murray State University and was a member of the Northside Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Debbie Russell Shekell; as well as one brother, John Shekell.
Survivors include her partner, Ed Young of Murray, Kentucky; father, Randy Shekell of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Kora Dawn Young of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Kody Ray Young of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Joy Camp and husband Michael of Coldwater, Kentucky and Brandi Shekell of Murray, Kentucky.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Bazzell Cemetery with Bro. Brett Miles officiating. There will be no public visitation held.
