Arlene Ann Rice

Mrs. Arlene Ann Sekira Rice, age 81, of Murray, Kentucky, formerly of Viera, Florida, died Monday, February 15, 2016 at her daughter's home.

She was born in Bronx, New York on September 27, 1934 to the late Walter and Ann Broderick Sekira. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Samuel James Rice and one son Thomas Rice

She was retired from First Federal of Osceola, Florida; she was of Catholic Faith.

Survivors two daughters, Kathleen Stroud and husband Robin of Murray, Kentucky and Maureen Burke and husband James of Port Jefferson, New York; one son, James Thomas Rice and wife Cindy of Melbourne Beach, Florida; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Iglesias, Thomas Rice, Ashley Iglesias, James Rice, Jaquie Rice-Roni, Kyleen Burke, Brannon Burke and James Burke; as well as three great grandchildren, Zayne Iglesias, Lily Thurmond, and Lyla Thurmond.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 20, 2016 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Father Brandon Williams will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 am till service hour Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the funeral home.
