Aubrey "Cotton" Eldridge

Mr. Aubrey T. "Cotton" Eldridge, age 80, of Murray, Kentucky died on Saturday, June 09, 2018 at Green Acres Healthcare in Mayfield, Kentucky.
Mr. Eldridge was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on August 26, 1937 to the late Oral Brown Eldridge and Nancy Ellen (Jones) Eldridge. Mr. Eldridge was a retired car dealer and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Hazel, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents Mr. Eldridge was preceded in death by two daughters, Aleshia Cunningham and Cindy Bebber; one sister, Barbara Stacey; and by one brother, Jerry Eldridge.
Mr. Eldridge is survived by his wife, Joan (Giles) Eldridge of Murray, Kentucky, to whom he married on July 17, 1970 in Paducah, Kentucky; three daughters, Debora Adair and husband Rick of Memphis Tennessee, Tena Oliver and husband Rodney of Memphis Tennessee and Deneshia Butz and husband Greg of Benton, Kentucky; four sisters, Dorthy Fike and husband Bob of Murray, Kentucky, Annalee Robinson of Murray, Kentucky, Virgie Ramsey and husband Archie of Almo, Kentucky and Diane Myers and husband Robert of Camden, Tennessee; one brother, Oral B. Eldridge, Jr. and wife Sandy of New Concord, Kentucky; 15 grandchildren, David Cunningham, Jr., Michael Cunningham, Steven Lyons Cunningham, Angela Peppers, Julie Cain, Levi Adair, Tabitha Gatchalian, Amberly Smith, Adam Oliver, Esther Babich, Sarah Oliver, Heather Duncan, Bryant Bebber, Cassidy Underwood and Chelsee Coles; as well as 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Oliver and Bro. David Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Hicks Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
