Audrey O. Scott

Mrs. Audrey O. Scott, 94, of Murray, Kentucky died on Friday, June 8, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Scott retired from the Murray High School where she served has secretary for many years. Mrs. Scott was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Murray. She was co-owner of Scott's Drugs and former member of Murray Women's club.
Mrs. Scott was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 8, 1918 to the late Charles Clinton "C.C." Oliver and Rose Davis Oliver. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her Uncle and Aunt, Frye and Kate Rose, who raised Mrs. Scott.
Mrs. Scott is survived by her husband, John Ed Scott of Murray, to whom she married on November 24, 1945 in Hazel, Kentucky; one daughter, Rosemary Graham and husband David of Murray; one son, John Scott of Memphis, Tennessee; as well as one granddaughter, Allison Graham of Murray.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Stahler and Dr. Rick Dye officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until funeral hour (2:00p.m.)
