Barbara Chilcutt

Mrs. Barbara Davis Chilcutt, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky, died Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Chilcutt was born December 21, 1936, in Cook County, Illinois, to the late H.E. and Terris Willoughby Davis. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Chilcutt, sister, Edith Thibideau, brother, Warner Davis.
Mrs. Chilcutt was a retired nurse, after 40 years of service with Hart Ophthalmology, and was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Smith and husband Joel, of Murray, Kentucky, Kelly Chilcutt and Bob English of Springfield, Tennessee; two sisters, Lolita Landers of Scottsville, Kentucky, and Louise Zilligen, and husband Tom of Ashkum, Illinois; two grandchildren, Katie Dempsey and husband Nick of Kirksey, Kentucky, and Drew Smith of Rosenberg, Texas; also two great grandchildren, Elisa and Adelyn Dempsey of Kirksey, Kentucky.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Dr. Jim Simmons and Rev. Martin Severns will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m., Monday, February 2, 2015.
