Ms. Barbara A. Jones, age 71, of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at her home.
Ms. Jones was born in East Prairie, Missouri on June 25, 1945 to the late Joe Edward Jones and Sadie (Howton) Jones. After growing up in East Prairie, Missouri and graduating from East Prairie High in 1963, Ms. Jones later moved to Southern California and was employed at Weiser Locks for 22 years. In 1988 Ms. Jones moved to Murray and opened a small breakfast and sandwich shop. Later Ms. Jones retired from the Murray Wal-Mart. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Jones was preceded in death one sister, Linda Gene Jones; and by two brothers, James Edward Jones and Frankie Roe Jones.
Ms. Jones is survived by one sister, Peggy Falls of East Prairie, Missouri; two brothers, Adolph Jones and wife Glenda of Murray, Kentucky and Bob Jones and wife Ruby of East Prairie, Missouri.
There will be no public visitation or service.
