Barbara Faye Parker

Mrs. Barbara Faye Parker, 70 of Murray, Kentucky died Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Parker was born in Sumner County Tennessee on March 2, 1943 to the late Ray Story and Cora (Kemp) Story. Mrs. Story was a seamstress and a member of the Grace Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Story was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Joe "Popeye" Parker and by four brothers, Hugh Story, Kenneth Story, Hoyt Story and Ray Story, Jr.
Mrs. Story is survived by four sons, Gary Henry of Hardin, Kentucky, Steve Bradley and wife Julie of Paoli, Indiana, Danny Rogers and Don Rogers both of Murray; four sisters, Ruth Beach of Murray, Ruby Williams of Murray, Betty June Sykes of Dothan, Alabama and her twin sister, Dorothy Manning and husband Paul of Murray; one brother, Ira Story and wife Bonnie of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Murray City Cemetery with Rev. Sammy Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow. No visitation is scheduled.
