Mrs. Beata Baker age 39, of Murray, Ky., went to be with Jesus on Monday, January 3, 2012
at the Murray Calloway Co. Hospital.
Beata served seven years, along side her husband Tom, as missionaries in Poland and as
co-directors of Across Ministry, a mission organization focused on Poland. (www.acrosspl.org)
Beata was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Murray, Ky. Mrs. Baker had earned a Masters degree, worked as a nurse and later as team leader at a Drug Recovery Clinic in Poland, prior to her mission work. Beata was born in Wisla, Poland on September 3, 1972.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Baker of Murray, Ky., they married Dec. 10, 2004 in Wisla, Poland, daughter, Diana Katarzyna Branc of Murray, Ky., Her parents, Jan Padzorski and Danuta Sliwka Padzorska of Wisla, Poland, sister, Renata Grichtolik (Joachim) of Swietochlowice, Poland.
Memorial service will be held Friday, January 6, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Memorial Baptist Church in Murray, Ky., Bro. Martin Severns will officiate. The family requests that all family and friends wear casual attire, and Ladies wear pink in memory of Beata. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 5, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at the Memorial Baptist Church.
