Ben Peery Hendrick

Mr. Ben Peery Hendrick, age 75, of Murray, Kentucky died on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mr. Hendrick was born on August 26, 1944, in Calloway County, Kentucky, to the late Orvis Hendrick and Mildred (Peery) Hendrick. Mr. Hendrick retired from General Tire after 31 years. Following his retirement Mr. Hendrick was the founder and operator of A Good Thing in Murray. He was a member and Deacon of the Locust Grove Baptist Church and was a Baptist Builder.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hendrick is preceded in death by his sister, Diane Barnett; and a brother-in-law, Toy Lee Barnett.
Survivors include his wife, Jere (Brandon) Hendrick of Murray, to whom he married on January 10, 1964, in Calloway County; one daughter, Angela Hendrick Adams and husband Billy of Murray, Kentucky; one son, John Carl "Johnny" Hendrick and wife Crystle of Murray; 11 grandchildren, Joe Ben Hendrick, Margaret Nicole Hendrick, Matthew Hendrick, Beth Hillard, Shanee Dehay, Katie Crabtree, Jeri Lee, Brooklin Klink, Jamie Jones, Brandon Taylor Orr, and Zachary Gage Orr; nine great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside service will be held. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
