Berlene Johnston

Mrs. Berlene Johnston age 82, of Murray, Kentucky, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Friendship Health and Rehab in Pee Wee Valley, Kentucky.

She was retired from Fisher Price – Mattel

She was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on December 25, 1932 to the late Homer and Mary Darnell Wicker. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Glen Y. Johnston; two sisters, Eulala Wicker Barnett and Quava Wicker Wilson; one nephew Steve Barnett.

She is survived by son, Shannon Johnston and wife Angie of Louisville, Kentucky; step son, Phillip Johnston and wife Janna of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Lindsey Johnston, Drake Johnston both of Overland Park, Kansas, Travis Johnston and wife Susan and Tyler Johnston and wife Rebecca all of Louisville, Kentucky; two nephews Phil Wilson and Keith Wilson both of Murray, Kentucky; great niece Stephanie Garnett McPherson and husband Mark of Gloucester, Virginia along with several great grandchildren and great nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral serives will be held 11:00 am Friday, January 16, 2015 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Rev. Kerry Lambert will officiate with burial to follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill funeral home.
