Bert Jones

Mr. Bert Jones, age 70, of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, August 03, 2011 at the Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
He was a member of the Dexter Pentecostal Church; the Aurora Masonic Lodge 925 F&AM; Eastern Star Lodge #445. He was self employed, as an auto body repairman and auto sales.
He was born in Trigg County Kentucky on June 6, 1941 to Dora Ann Travis Jones and the late Willard Jones and. In addition to his father he is also preceded in death by a brother, Alton Jones and sister Anna Jones
He is survived by his mother, Dora Jones, of Murray, Kentucky; two step daughters, Theresa Washum of Murray, Kentucky, Lesa Hall (Richard), of Murray, Kentucky; two step sons, Don Scott of Murray, Kentucky, Bobby Scott of Orlando, Florida; four sisters, Brenda Joyce and husband Raymond of Mesquite, Texas, Isetta Eldridge and husband Larry of Murray, Kentucky, Loretta McDermott of Benton, Kentucky, Cathey Steward and husband Joey of Murray, Kentucky; two brothers, Ned Jones and wife Teresa of Murray Kentucky, Delmar Jones and wife Shirley of Murray Kentucky.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Bro Elijah Balentine and Bro James Cox will officiate. Burial will follow in the Matheny Cemetery in Land Between the Lakes. Visitation will be held Friday, August 5, 2011 from 4:00 – 9:00 with Eastern Star services being held at 6:00 p.m. and Masonic Services being held at 7:00 p.m. with all held in the chapel at the funeral home.
