Bessie Harmon

Mrs. Bessie Harmon, 86 of Murray, KY, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, KY. Mrs. Harmon was born in Benton Co., TN on April 10, 1924 to the late James and Bessie Ilena Barnes Evans. Mrs. Harmon retired from Caldwell Vending Co. and was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Harmon was preceded in death by her husband, Doris Harmon, who died on April 28, 1969; daughter, Charlotte Ann Lamb; grandson, Jay Lamb; and by one brother, Wm. Alfred Harmon.
Mrs. Harmon is survived by two brothers, Don Harmon and wife Carol of California and Bobby Dean Harmon and wife Mary Alice of Missouri; grandson, Nathan Lamb and wife Lori of Murray; two great grandchildren, Jaden and Tatum Lamb of Murray; and son-in-law, Gary Lamb of Murray.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., on Friday July 1, 2011 at the funeral home.
