Betty Jane Brown

Mrs. Betty Jane C. Brown, age 77, of Murray, Kentucky died on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.

Mrs. Brown was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 15, 1939 to the late Aloysius Ruchalski and Ruth Martha (Albricht) Ruchalski. Mrs. Brown worked as a bookkeeper for Flambeau in Baraboo, Wisconsin before retiring. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Murray.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Harry B. Brown of Murray, Kentucky; two daughters, Peggy Ruth Brown of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and Elizabeth Margaret Brown Severson and husband Robert of Hampshire, Illinois; one son, James Virgil Brown and wife Peggy Jo of Oxford, Wisconsin; one brother, Ronald Ruchalski and wife Arlene of Rochester, New York; eight grandchildren, Lawrence M. Skilondz, Melissa Polhmann, Angela Skilondz, Nichole Lentino, Cristina Severson, Josh Brown, Andrew Grossmann and Amanda Grossman; as well as six great grandchildren, Seth Jeremiah, Breona Skilondz, Coltyn Polhmann, Jakob Polhmann, Michael Lentino and Tessa Lentino.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Renee A. Meyer officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
