Betty Dixon

Mrs. Betty Dixon, age 97, of Kirksey, Kentucky, passed away, Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray, Kentucky.

She was born in Coldwater, Kentucky on December 9, 1926, to the late Albert Bazzell Sr. and Ophelia Duncan.

            Betty retired as a clerk for West Kentucky Rural Electric.

In addition to her parents Betty was also preceded in death by her husband Lymon Dixon; one son, Dale Dixon; brothers Robert, Eurie, Novice, Gernie, Albert Jr. and James Bazzell and Charlie Arnett and sisters Addie and Ovie Carter, Veva Turner, Jewel T. Jones, Mary Kirkland and Jennie Perich.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Diane Owens Dixon of Kirksey, Kentucky; granddaughter, Stacie Morris of Aurora, Kentucky; great granddaughter, Cheyenne Morris of Aurora, Kentucky.
