Mrs. Betty L. Meadows – Mohundro, age 83, of Murray, Kentucky died at the Murray Calloway County Hospital at 10:42 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2015.
She was retired after 27 years from Murray Municipal Utilities; she was a member of the Elm Grove Baptist Church.
She was born March 4, 1932 in Metropolis, Illinois to the late Leland and Evelyn Trout Hicks. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her 1st husband, James Meadows; one daughter, Sherry Meadows Freeland; one brother, Robert Hicks.
She is survived by her husband Bill Mohundro of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Steve Meadows of Murray, Kentucky and Stan Meadows of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, April Meadows and Andrew Freeland.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, June 18, 2015 in the Hicks Cemetery. Bro Jim Simmons will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 – 12:30 Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
