Mrs. Betty Roberts

Mrs. Betty (Dunn) Roberts, age 87, of Murray, Kentucky passed away, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.

Mrs. Roberts was born on March 16, 1937, in Kirksey, Kentucky to the late Louie and Pearl Dunn. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cherry Corner Baptist Church where she taught Preschoolers for 62 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, N.D. Roberts; they were married for 51 years; four brothers, George, Ike, Roy, and Charles Dunn; as well as five sisters, Cora Mae Henson, Opal Dunn, Mary Sue Henson, Larue Zollinger, and Beauton Trimble.

She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Garland and husband David and Teresa Pierce and husband Jeff all of Murray, Kentucky; one son, David Roberts and wife Stephanie of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, J.D. Dunn of Dexter, Kentucky; two grandsons, Tim and Wesley Roberts both of Murray, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Audrey Elliott and husband Drew of Murray, Kentucky; five great grandchildren, Ethan and Anna Kate Roberts, and Nate, Colson, and Carson Elliott all of Murray, Kentucky; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Bro. Ronnie Burkeen and Bro. Russell Dunn will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
