Betty Ross

Mrs. Betty Carolyn Stalls Ross, age 80, of Murray, Kentucky died on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.
Mrs. Ross was born May 11, 1937 in Murray, Kentucky, to the late Jeff Dewitt "Rowdy" Stalls and Alma Lee Kirks Stalls. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers in law, Bill Balentine and Cleo Chambers.
Mrs. Ross was retired from Briggs & Stratton. She was a member of the Calvary Temple Pentecostal Church of God. She served as secretary and treasurer for 38 years at the church, and was one of the charter members.
Survivors include her husband, Toy Ross of Murray, Kentucky, they married April 15, 1966 in Murray, Kentucky; four sisters, Sue Chambers of Flatwoods, Kentucky, Pat Balentine of Murray, Kentucky, Shirley Hart and husband Don of Murray, Kentucky, and Nancy Farmer and husband Jesse of Murray, Kentucky; sister in law, Virginia Chester of Murray, Kentucky; brother in law, Glenn Ross and wife Betty of Detroit, Michigan; one niece, Darla Dugger and husband Aaron of Murray, Kentucky; three nephews, Jeff Culver of Hardin, Kentucky, Dennis Chambers and wife Carol of Flatwoods, Kentucky, and Marty Williams and wife Brittney of Murray, Kentucky; also several great Nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Calvary Temple Pentecostal Church of God. Bro. Daryl Young and Bro. Tom Clendenen will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2017 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at The Church.
