Bettye M. Bailey

          Mrs. Bettye M. Bailey, age 91, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

          Mrs. Bailey was born on December 21, 1931, in Paducah, Kentucky, to the late Lloyd and Nettie Noles McKeel. Bettye was a former employee with Bellsouth, a homemaker and a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Will Ed Bailey; two sisters, Edna Redden and Linda McKeel; two brothers, Bill McKeel and Jim McKeel.

          Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Bailey Valentine and husband J.D. of New Concord, Kentucky and Aimee Bailey of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Kevin Bailey and wife Joanna of Murray, Kentucky and Tim Bailey of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Brenton Adam Bailey and Miranda Bailey both of Murray, Kentucky; three great grandchildren, Emma Bailey, Gage Bailey and Cooper Duncan all of Murray, Kentucky.

          Private family service will be held, with burial in the Locust Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
