Billy Joe Chadwick

Mr. Billy Joe Chadwick, age 87, of Murray, Kentucky died Monday, August 23, 2021, at his home.

Mr. Chadwick was born in Stewart County, Tennessee on February 10, 1934, to the late Herlie Lendel Chadwick and Lola Rae (Green) Chadwick. Mr. Chadwick worked as a commercial fisherman and was a member of the Northside Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Chadwick was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Sue Chadwick; brothers, JD Chadwick and Jerry Chadwick; as well as a granddaughter, Nikki Morgan Adams.

Mr. Chadwick is survived by two daughters, Debbie Chadwick Warner and husband Greg and P.J. Hale and husband Brad; one son, Danny Ray Chadwick and wife Diana of Murray all of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Bradley Chadwick and wife Dot of Ocala, Florida; five grandchildren, Jason Herbert of Stuart, Florida, Justin Herbert of Murray, Kentucky, Ashley Callison of Georgetown, Kentucky, Kaylan Spaulding of Wilmore, Kentucky and Matthew Hale of Murray, Kentucky; as well as six great-grandchildren, Jackson and Benjamin Herbert of Stuart, Florida, Remington and Maddox Herbert of Murray, Kentucky, and Kenzlee and Taiten Callison of Georgetown, Kentucky.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Rev. Brett Miles will officiate and grandson, Jason Herbert will provide a eulogy of Mr. Chadwick. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
