Billy "Monk" Hendon

Mr. Billy "Monk" Hendon, age 63, of the New Providence Community in Murray, KY, died Sunday, December 02, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Hendon was born August 25, 1949 in Murray, KY, to the late William Edwin and Dorval Fields Hendon; he was a farmer and member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sue Alexander Hendon of Murray; to whom he married on October 29, 1976 in Metropolis, IL; daughter, Cassie Elene Hendon of Murray; son, Billy Joe Hendon and wife Hannah of Murray; one sister, Marsha Hendon Dale and husband John also of Murray.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale officiating. Burial to follow in the New Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
