Billy Ray Potts

Mr. Billy Ray Potts, age 65, of Murray, Kentucky died Monday, February 18, 2019 at his home.
Billy was born January 30, 1954 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Ted Potts and Norella Kelso Potts. He was retired from Briggs and Stratton and was a member of the Williams Chapel Church of Christ. Billy was also the World's Greatest Crappie Fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Harrell Potts; sister, Jean Phillips; infant brother, Bobby Dale Potts.
Survivors include one daughter, Kristin Nicole Potts of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Jeremiah Ray Potts of Murray, Kentucky, Bobby Dale Potts of Murray, Kentucky; two step sons, Shane Smith of Murray, Kentucky and Ryan Smith of Murray, Kentucky; three sisters Kay Creech and husband Curt of Estero, Florida, Peggy King and husband Eddie of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, Jan Tucker and husband Terry of Murray, Kentucky; brother, Dan Potts of Madison, Alabama; brother in law, Tommy Phillips of Fulton, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Abriella Marie Lanier of Murray, Kentucky and Gauge Smith of Murray, Kentucky; also several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
