Billy Joe Trimble

Mr. Billy Joe Trimble, age 69, of Dexter, Kentucky died on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.

Mr. Trimble was born in Booneville, Mississippi on February 16, 1948 to the late Craine Eugene Trimble and Martha (Wynell) Trimble. Mr. Trimble before retiring in 2009 was the owner and operator of Alloy Piping for 25 years. After his retirement Mr. Trimble supplied the Murray Downtown Farmers Market with Mirai sweet corn, was an avid Beekeeper, and enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren. Mr. Trimble also supported his wife's career as a Red Cross Swim Instructor. He was an Army Vietnam veteran and a member of the Northside Baptist Church.

Mr. Trimble is survived by his wife and best friend, Sue Trimble of Dexter, Kentucky, to whom he married on November 10, 1973 in Bensenville, Illinois at the St. Alexis Catholic Church; one daughter, Gaya Hart and husband Dean of Paducah, Kentucky; one son, Britt Trimble and wife Morgan of Dexter, Kentucky; one brother, Benny Trimble of Puryear, Tennessee; as well as six grandchildren, Devlin Trimble, Jolie Trimble, Lucy Reese King, Brenden Cavitt, Ruby King and Ethan Hart.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Brett Miles officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
