Mr. Bobby Nix Crawford, age 81, of Murray, Kentucky, died Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mr. Crawford was born in Princeton, Kentucky on April 15, 1937 to the late Robert Nix Crawford and Margery (Boitnott) Crawford. Mr. Crawford was the previous owner of Western Auto, was a sales clerk for Buckingham-Ray clothing store and later retired as a supervisor for Seaboard Farms. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife, Martha Crawford of Murray, Kentucky, to whom he married on August 5, 1960 in Owensboro, Kentucky; one daughter, Kelli Paschall and husband Terry Lynn of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Craig Crawford and wife Kelly Ann of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one sister, Betty Jo Purdom of Murray, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Katy and Hugh Paschall of Murray, Kentucky, Nix Crawford and wife Natalie of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Ainsley and Cade Crawford of Bowling Green, Kentucky; as well as one great-grandchild, Nix Riley of Murray, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Stahler and Rev. Rick Dye officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
