Bobby C. Lax

Mr. Bobby C. Lax, age 75, of Edinborough Dr., Murray, KY, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010, at the Murray Calloway County Hospital. Mr. Lax was born in New Concord, KY on April 26, 1935 to the late Robert and Eva Winchester Lax. Mr. Lax retired from Murray State University as supervisor of the Grounds Department. He was also a former manager with P.C.A. (Production Credit Association) in Paducah, KY. He received his BS degree in Agriculture in 1963 from Murray State University; there he was a founding member of the AGR Fraternity. An Army veteran and a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
Mr. Lax is survived by his wife, Barbara Lax of Murray, married June 5th, 1965 at the Lebanon Church of Christ in Sedalia, KY, one daughter, Susan Beth Lax of Lexington, KY, one son, Michael Allen Lax of Murray, KY, two sisters,Lorene Hulsey of Hendersonville, TN, and Joyce Bogard and husband David, of Murray, one brother, Thomas Lax and wife Alice of New Concord, KY, one grandson John Felts of Bardwell, KY, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., at The J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale officiating. Burial to follow in the Lebanon Church of Christ Cemetery in Sedalia, KY. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2010, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at The J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
