Bobby G. Watson

Mr. Bobby Gene Watson, age 91, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
He was a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church; he was a farmer and had worked at Tappan Stove Company in Murray, Kentucky and Union Carbide in Calvert City, Kentucky for 10 years and Quentana for 25 years.
Bobby was born in Kirksey, Kentucky on June 8, 1928 to the late Lexie Crawford and Gracie Norene Jones Watson. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by one grandchild, Logan Watson and one brother Dwight Watson
He is survived by his wife, Wilda Jo Wilkerson Watson of Murray, Kentucky. They were married in Kirksey, Kentucky on March 23, 1946. Also surviving are two daughters, Jackie Harle and husband Bill of Murray, Kentucky and Judy Overbey and husband Don of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Mike Watson and wife Tina of Murray, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Scott Morris and wife Kim, Amberly Gillum and husband Chris, Justin Morris, Kelly Overbey and wife Brittany and Ryan Watson; eleven great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the Spring Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Tim Palmer and Bro Brett Miles will officiate with entombment to follow in the Spring Creek Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral.
