Ms. Brenda (Brandon) Estes, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky died on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Towne Square Care of Puryear in Puryear, Tennessee.
Ms. Estes was born in Murray, Kentucky on August 15, 1939 to the late Earl Bryant Brandon and Lottie Olean (Fennell) Brandon. Ms. Estes a psychologist, owned and operated Estes Psychological Services in Murray, before retiring. She graduated from Murray High School in 1957, received her Bachelor's Degree in 1981 and Master's Degree in 1983 both from Murray State University. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Social Sorority, Friday Night Friends, and the First Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Estes was preceded in death by one daughter, Maryjane (Estes) Pierceall.
Ms. Estes is survived by two daughters, Susan Jay (Estes) Medlock and husband Mark of Buchanan, Tennessee and Leigh Ellin Sullivan and husband Aaron of Louisville, Kentucky; son-in-law, Richard Pierceall of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Jane Brandon of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Billy Earl Brandon and wife Marcia of Murray, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Rebecca Carver and husband Chad of Buchanan, Tennessee, Jared Medlock and wife Jessalyn of Buchanan, Tennessee, Henry Medlock and wife Elizabeth of Buchanan, Tennessee, Taylor Jackson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Tony Jackson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three great-grandchildren, Westin Carver, Garrett Carver, Stephanie Burley, and baby girl Medlock, due September 2018; as well as special friends, Mary Smith of Murray, Kentucky and Ruth Daughaday of Murray ,Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Dukes and Chaplain Patricia Todd officiating. Burial will follow in the Brandon Hill Cemetery in Murray, Kentucky. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
