Brenda Katherine Scott

Mrs. Brenda Scott, age 68, of Murray, Kentucky died Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mrs. Scott was born November 5, 1950 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Bailey Dotson and Katherine Empson Dotson. She worked at Murray Calloway County Hospital as an LPN for twelve years and worked at Walmart for eleven years. Mrs. Scott was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlene Mullins and Linda Tew.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Scott of Murray, Kentucky, they married on July 2, 1979 in Calloway County, Kentucky; one daughter, Heather Patterson and husband Bobby of Lawrenceville, Georgia; two sons, Troy McClure of Murray, Kentucky and Paul Scott and wife Heather of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Gordon King and wife Reiko of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Zenley McClure, Ethan Scott and Alyssa Verner.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Rev. Ryker Wilson will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 12-2 p.m. at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
