Sue Sills

            Mrs. Sue Sills, age 84, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023, in Murray, Kentucky.  

            She was a homemaker and a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ and Young -n- Hearts Class.

  Born May 1, 1939, in Stewart County, Tennessee to the late Curn Mathis and Edith Sills Mathis

            In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Sills; one grandson, Kyle Harper, three sisters, Edna Barrow, Juanita Barrow and Sarah Duke; six brothers, Darrell Mathis, Norman Mathis, Gene Mathis, Max Mathis, Carter Mathis and Wayne Mathis.

            She is survived by two daughters, Pam Harper and husband Dewayne of Murray, Kentucky and Dana Sills of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Sybil Barrow of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Ned Mathis and wife Julie of Murray, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Darby Lax of Murray, Kentucky, Cody Hart and wife Destany of Murray, Kentucky and Brandon Dowdy of Benton, Kentucky; two great grandchildren, Hailey Harper and Saydie Hart; also, several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Sue will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.   John Dale, Steven Hunter and Tyler Bohannon will officiate with entombment to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens.   Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2023, at the J. H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
