Mrs. Bronda S. Parker, age 83, of Murray, Kentucky, died the morning of Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mrs. Parker was born on August 28, 1935, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Ruble Lockhart and Nadine Hopkins Lockhart. She was a homemaker and a member of the Westside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald T. Parker of Murray, Kentucky, to whom she was married to on September 25, 1955 in Yuma, Arizona; one daughter, Sharon L. Boulton and husband Jon of Paducah, Kentucky; one son, Thomas R. Parker and wife Lori of Powder Springs, Georgia; five grandchildren, Jason Goodyke and wife Detreous of Paducah, Kentucky, Ryan Parker and wife Jennifer of Kennesaw, Georgia, Patricia Horsley and husband Danny of Powder Springs, Georgia, Mallory Strickland and husband Todd of Dallas, Georgia, and Brandon Parker and wife Ocoee of Roswell, Georgia; fourteen great-grandchildren, Azyln Goodyke, Preston Goodyke, Makayla Parker, Savannah Parker, Peyton Parker, Holton Parker, Saylor Parker, Adam Horsley, Anna Horsley, Emma Horsley, Price Strickland, Tripp Strickland, Lacey Strickland, and Madeline Parker.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at the Murray City Cemetery. Danny Horsley will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m., on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
