Byrnie Keith Corey

Mr. Byrnie Keith Corey, age 56, of Murray, Kentucky, died Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mr. Corey was born on June 25, 1966, in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Elbert Corey and Helen (Peele) Corey. He worked at Sirloin Stockade Restaurant and was a member of the Life Tabernacle Church. Mr. Corey was an Army Veteran of the Persian Gulf War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Carolyn Williams, Lisa Elliott, and Linda Numan; as well as one brother, John Carey, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Chrisandra Corey of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; three daughters, Brittany Corey of Atlanta, Georgia, Takeesha Morgan of Norfolk, Virginia, and Lisa Corey of Morganfield, Kentucky; stepson, Bakari Smith of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; three sisters, Rose Mary Corey of Bellhaven, North Carolina, Dorothy Corey of Norfolk, Virginia, and Sandra Corey Brown of Chesapeake, Virginia; as well as one grandchild, Safari Morgan of Norfolk, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the Life Tabernacle Church with Pastor Jarred Borden officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veteran Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the Life Tabernacle Church.
