Carl Glenn Cossey

Mr. Carl Glenn Cossey, age 59, of Murray, Kentucky died on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mr. Cossey was born Between the Rivers at Golden Pond, Kentucky on April 20, 1957. He was a Maintenance Supervisor for the Calloway County School System, where he had been employed for 30 years and was a member of the Bethel Fellowship Church.
Mr. Cossey was preceded in death by his father, John Gardner Cossey.
Mr. Cossey is survived by his wife, Kim Coggins Cossey of Murray, Kentucky, to whom he married on May 30, 2009 in Murray, Kentucky; his mother, Earnestine Lilly Cossey of Murray, Kentucky; children, Monica Marshall and husband Thomas of Murray, Kentucky and Carlee Cossey of Murray, Kentucky; Brandon Duncan and wife Lisa of Murray, Kentucky; Ivey Dellamano and husband Nicholas of Oak Grove ,Kentucky and Holly Duncan and fiancé Dustin Nowling of Paducah, Kentucky; brothers, Kenneth Cosey and wife Pat of Murray, Kentucky, Danny Cossey and wife Cindy of Murray, Kentucky and Johnny Don Cossey and wife Lenna of Murray, Kentucky; grandchildren, McKinley Marshall, Skylar Cossey, Willow Duncan, Kylen Duncan-Dellamano and Roman Dellamano; as well as several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Underhill, Bro. Ralph Lilly and Chris King officiating. Burial will follow in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H Churchill Funeral Home.
