Carla Sue Cochran

Mrs. Carla Sue Cochran, age 80, of Union City, Tennessee, formerly of Murray, Kentucky, died on November 17, 2017 at the Arbors at Etheridge House in Union City, Tennessee.

Mrs. Cochran was born on November 22, 1936 in Hazel, Kentucky to the late Thomas Carl Marshall and Louise Solmon Marshall. She was a retired Secretary at Murray State University with the Fine Arts Department and of the Church of Christ Faith. She was also a graduate of the Murray Training School.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Marshall and Bobby Marshall; one nephew, Darren Marshall and one niece, Debbie Smith.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Lyell and husband Tom of Hazel, Kentucky and one sister, Anne Bonner of Murray, Kentucky; also surviving is one grandchild Coby Lyell and wife Dara of Murray, Kentucky.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Hazel Baptist Church. Bro. Jordan Roach will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Hazel Baptist Church.
