Carolyn Anderson

        Mrs. Carolyn King Anderson, age 75, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.

          Mrs. Anderson was born on October 22, 1948, in Murray, Kentucky, to the late Bruce Virgil King and Monico Futrell King. Carolyn was a retired secretary for Calloway County High School and was a member of the Westfork Baptist Church.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Jenny Henry, Dot Mohundro and Loretta King; grandmother, Ida Mae Hicks.

          Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Anderson of Murray, Kentucky, they married on December 23, 1966, in Murray, Kentucky; daughter, Renee Anderson Doublin and husband Chuck of Huntsville, Alabama; son in law, Michael Edward Wagner and wife Jen of Huntsville, Alabama; sister, Patricia King Thompson of Murray, Kentucky; brother, Robert Lloyd King of Park City, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Alek Doublin and wife Chole, Hayden Wagner, Landen Dale Wagner all of Huntsville, Alabama, and Ella Monico Wagner of Texas.

          A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at a later date.
