Carolyn A. Morris

Mrs. Carolyn A. Morris, age 70, of the Kirksey, Kentucky Community died on Saturday, April 30, 2016 due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident on Airport Road in Murray, Kentucky.
Mrs. Morris was born on March 31, 1946 in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Robert E. Towery and Myra Hanley Towery. She was a retired Nurse's Aide at Long term care of the Murray Calloway County Hospital for 35 years, and an active member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William B. "Cutworm" Morris.
She is survived by one son, Patrick Morris and wife Andrea of Murray, Kentucky, one step-daughter, Teresa Kimbro and husband Andy of Eddyville, Kentucky, two brothers, James Towery and Richard Towery, both of Murray, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Noah and Cooper Morris of Murray, Kentucky, and on step granddaughter, Whitney Oliver of Eddyville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held on 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with the Rev. John Bedwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirksey Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
