Carolyn Sue (Barnes) Sanders Wire

Mrs. Carolyn Sue (Barnes) Sanders Wire, age 84, of Murray, Kentucky died on Monday, December 19, 2022, at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.

Mrs. Wire was born on December 12, 1938, in Trigg County, Kentucky to the late Plomer H. Barnes and Beadie (Skinner) Barnes. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray D. Wire.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Coles and husband Allen of Murray, Kentucky and Lisa Prather of Murray, Kentucky; three sons, Randell E. Sanders and wife Beth of Lexington, South Carolina, James Sanders and wife Donna of Murray, Kentucky, and Larry D. Sanders and wife Rosemary of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Plomer G. Barnes and wife Cookie of Lawrenceville, Illinois; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; as well as two step-great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Jimmie Oliver and Bro. David Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
