Mr. Carrol Martin Rogers, 84, of Murray, KY died Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY.
Mr. Rogers was born in Calloway County, KY on May 21, 1928 to the late James Herman Rogers and Clara Mayfield Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a farmer and was a member of the Martins Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife, Martha Fain Rogers of Murray, to whom he married on October 17, 1953 in Murray, KY; one daughter, Deborah Rogers Doron and husband Gail of Murray; three sons, Steve Rogers of Cadiz, KY; Terry Rogers and wife Carol of Murray and David Rogers of San Diego, CA; four grandchildren, Michelle Downey and husband Mitchell, Krista Hatchett and husband Bill, Justin Rogers and wife Kimberly, and Michael Rogers all of Murray; as well as five great grandchildren, Reese Downey, Shelby Hatchett, Presley Hatchett, Hadlee Rogers and Laynee Rogers all of Murray.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Burkeen and Rev. Glenn Hill officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 after 4:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
