Carroll Dean Walker

Mr. Carroll Dean Walker, age 82, of Murray, Kentucky, died Sunday, October 11, 2015 at his home.


Mr. Walker was born in Livingston County Kentucky on March 10, 1933 to the late Clarence Walker and Pearl (Fuller) Walker. Mr. Walker retired as the Dean of Students at South East Missouri University (SEMO).

In addition to his parents Mr. Walker was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammie Lusk; and by four brothers and three sisters.

Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Cathleen Walker of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Jeff Walker and wife Alecia of Benton, Kentucky and Kenneth Hamilton and wife Jeanette of Murray, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Benjamin Boitnott, Kenna Walker, Virginia McIntosh, Lee Hamilton and Carlotta Groves; nine great grandchildren, Lillian Boitnott, Gavin Boitnott, Christian McIntosh, Haley McIntosh, Isabella Hamilton, Jaylynn Groves, Jason Groves, Jayden Groves and Joanna Groves.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 prior to the memorial service from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until the time of the memorial service at the funeral home.
