Mr. Cary Lee Brandon "C.B."

Mr. Cary Lee Brandon “C.B.”, age 72, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away, Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at his home.

 Mr. Brandon was born on March 17, 1952, in Murray, Kentucky to the late L. Keith Brandon and Hazel Jean (Rushing) Brandon. He was the owner and operator of Brandon Rentals. Mr. Brandon was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, loved his family dearly and was a wonderful grandpa, enjoyed crappie fishing, and playing pool.

 Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Julia Diane (Laughhunn) Brandon of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Justin Rossi (Carla) of Murray, Kentucky and Michael Rossi (Tamara) of Marietta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Zachary Rossi (Annaston), Cayla Rossi (Gabriel), Camryn Rossi, and Allyson Rossi all of Murray, Kentucky; father-in-law, Joe Laughhunn of Benton, Kentucky, sister-in-law, Rosann Marcum of Murray, Kentucky, cousin, Wege (Rushing) Crigler (Eric) of Indiana; as well as several close and dear friends. 

 A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Chaplain (Major) John C. Carey, USA (Ret.), officiating. Burial will follow in the South Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

 Active pallbearers will be Justin Rossi, Michael Rossi, Zachary Rossi, Gabriel Clark, Greg Wilson, and Cliff Dibble. Honorary pallbearers will be Jan Vance, Cliff Higginson, Butch Wellinghurst, and Dan Jones.
