Catherine "Cathy" Oliver

Mrs. Catherine "Cathy" Oliver age 75 of Jackson Michigan, formerly of Murray, Ky., died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at her home.
Born September 22, 1936 in Detroit, Mi., to the late Otto and Margaret Waldecker, she was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Christian Church, of Murray, Kentucky.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Richardson (Mark) of Jackson, MI., three sons, David Noah (Rosetta) of Wichita, KS. James Smith, Jr. (Wilda) of St. Roberts, MO., Russell Smith (Kim) of Sandwich, IL., three sisters, Dee Tyson, Addison, MI., Gerry Riley of Kalkaska, MI., and Joan Parlier, Elk Park, N.C., one brother, Richard Waldecker of Big Bear MI., eight grandchildren, James Smith, Springfield, MO., Jonathan Smith, Springfield, MO., Maleaha Smith, Jackson, MI., Donna Palichat, Oclair, WI., Nicole Wood, Jackson, MI, Brandi Cook, Jackson, MI., Alise Hewitt, Fort Drum, N.Y., Bryan Cathey, Battle Creek, MI., also 7 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Oliver is also preceded in death by her husband Frank Oliver, son, Otto Smith, sisters, Tilly Francis, Jean Miller, brothers, Ernie, Edward, Larry, Russell Waldecker.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 2p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Rev. James Harris, Bro. Paul Bogard, and Rev. Carl Butler will officiate, and entombment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 3, 2011, from 10am till 2pm at the Funeral Home.
