Cecil "C.W." Clayton

Mr. Cecil "C.W." Clayton, age 81, of Murray, Kentucky died Friday, September 11, 2020, at his home.
Mr. Clayton was born on July 22, 1939 in Samburg, Tennessee to the late Cecil V. Clayton and Vivian Barnes Clayton. He had retired from Mattel and C.J. Food Mart. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Clayton; grandson, Robbie Clayton.
Survivors include two daughters, Meredith L. Clayton of Murray, Kentucky and Vivian Welter and husband Robert of Plano, Illinois; two sons, Mike Clayton and wife Anna of Murray, Kentucky and Cecil V. Clayton, III and wife Stephanie of Almo, Kentucky; sister, Kathy Bone of Union City, Tennessee; two brothers, Fred Clayton and wife Sue of Paris, Tennessee and Lacy Clayton and wife Sheila of Union City, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Tiffany Harris and husband Matt, Kristen Clayton, Kasi Clayton, Cecil Clayton IV, Alexus Clayton, Cara Clayton and Brandon Clayton; also eleven great grandchildren survive.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Bro. David Little will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Monday, September 14, 2020, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
