Charlene Melvin

Mrs. Charlene Cloys Melvin, 81, of Murray, KY, died Monday, April 26, 2010 at The Murray Calloway Co. Hospital.
She was retired from the Calloway County School District working in food service; she had worked at Kirksey School, and North Elementary. She was also a member of the Kirksey Church of Christ. Born Dec. 19, 1928 in Calloway Co.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherian Rorer (James) of Madisonville, Ky., Patricia Taylor of Huntsville, Ala., two sons, Tommy Melvin (Denise) of Mayfield, Ky., Ronald Melvin (Shelia) of Murray, Ky., one brother, Adrian Cloys (Margaret) of Murray, Ky., also grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L Melvin, Parents, A.B. and Nell Stone Cloys.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery, Bro. Richard Adams will officiate, and burial will follow.
