Mr. Charles Burkeen age 79, of Murray, Kentucky, died Monday, November 16, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Burkeen was born December 5, 1935 in Calloway County, Kentucky, to late Leon and Eva Bell Chapman Burkeen. Charles was the owner and operator of Burkeen Bumper Repair. He was also a member and deacon of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Roberts Burkeen, daughter, Loretta Jo Dillon, and one sister and one brother.
Survivors include son in law, Daniel Dillon of Dexter, Kentucky, two sisters, two brothers, three grandchildren, Angel Clere and husband Todd of Murray, Kentucky, Joseph Dillon of Chicago, Illinois, Janis Barnes and husband Brian of Paris, Tennessee, also three great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild survive.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 20, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Rev. Jordan Roach and Bro. Brett Miles will officiate. Burial will follow in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
